Getting started
What is Pivento?
A premium, mobile-first QR workspace. You create codes (links, Wi-Fi, contacts, events, and more), scan safely, organize everything you make, and track how dynamic codes perform — all from your phone.
Which platforms are supported?
Android on Google Play first, iOS on the App Store right after. A companion web dashboard for teams and deeper analytics follows the mobile launch.
Do I need an account?
You can start with an anonymous account and your codes sync to your device immediately. Add an email, Google, or Apple sign-in whenever you want to move between devices — or don’t; it’s your call.
Codes and subscriptions
Do my QR codes expire if I stop paying?
No — and that’s the point of Pivento. Free codes never expire, and codes you made on Pro keep working if you cancel. The only way a Pivento code stops working is if you delete it.
What’s the difference between static and dynamic codes?
Static codes encode the destination directly inside the pattern: printed and permanent, no server involved. Dynamic codes point to a short link you can retarget any time, and they report scan counts so you can measure them.
What does the free tier include?
10 dynamic codes, unlimited static codes, basic scan history — and no ads. It’s a real plan, not a trial. Pro ($4.99/month or $39.99/year) adds unlimited dynamic codes, advanced analytics, custom short-link domains, landing pages, and batch create.
How do payments and refunds work?
Pro is purchased in the app and billed through Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase. Refunds and cancellations follow each store’s own policies — we never see or store your card details.
Is it safe to scan a QR code I don’t know?
Treat unknown codes with the same caution as unknown links. Pivento always shows you a preview with a security check before anything opens — codes never auto-launch a destination without you seeing it first.
Privacy and data
Does Pivento show ads?
Never. Not in the app, not on scanned pages, not anywhere. We have no advertising SDKs and no advertising cookies.
Do you track the people who scan my codes?
No. Scan events are anonymous — timestamp, approximate location, device type — and contain no identity. We can’t profile scanners and we don’t try. Static codes never touch our servers at all.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Export and account deletion are built into the app’s settings, or you can email hello@pivento.app. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
